QUIZ BATHING

Description: This activity is an interactive quiz designed to reinforce children’s understanding of general body cleanliness and daily bathing routines. It focuses on recognizing situations that require a bath and identifying appropriate bathing items without overlapping with hair or dental hygiene, which are covered in separate lessons. Children will respond to questions based on visual prompts displayed on an LCD or slide. The questions are structured in three main ways: Bathing Situations Children are shown a situation, such as a child playing outside or being sweaty after exercise. They are asked whether the child should take a bath. Children answer verbally or by pointing/clicking the correct option. Example: “Ali played outside and is sweaty. What should he do?” A) Take a bath ✅ B) Go to sleep C) Watch TV Bathing Tools Recognition Children are shown images of body hygiene tools. They are asked to identify which items are used for bathing. Example: “Which item do we use to wash our body?” A) Soap ✅ B) Toothbrush C) Pencil Daily Bathing Routine Order Children are asked to identify the logical sequence of actions when taking a bath. Example: “Which is the first step when taking a bath?” A) Wash body ✅ B) Dry body C) Play with toys Procedure: The teacher introduces the quiz with the slide: “Let’s play a Bathing Quiz!” Children are guided to answer questions either verbally, by pointing, or by clicking on the correct option (if interactive slides are used). For reinforcement, the teacher may demonstrate the correct answer using clay models or the bathroom diorama. After each question, the teacher provides positive feedback, e.g., “Well done! Soap keeps our body clean.” The quiz continues until all questions are answered, ensuring that each child has an opportunity to participate. Objective: To reinforce children’s understanding of general bathing routines and body cleanliness. To enable children to identify appropriate bathing items.
